Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge {April 23}
Since discovering Cee’s photography blog last weekend and her Thursday B & W photo challenge, I’ve been anxiously awaiting today. In fact, my early morning blogging/writing habits were briefly off-course this morning when I discovered her challenge wasn’t posted as early as I wanted to write. Darn! But, that gave me all day to take plenty more pictures.
This week’s B & W Challenge asks participants to focus on geometric shapes. Should I tell you I had to take geometry twice in high school? Ugh. Those formulas made no sense to me, but the shapes sure were beautiful….. If only someone had used photography to explain all those angles, maybe I’d have passed the first time around. Oh, who am I fooling? I would’ve been distracted by the lines curving this way and that or the sharp angles created by the meeting of two lines.
Have I mentioned: math is not my strong suit. 😉
Two things are a sure bet with me: baskets for storage and circles in my artwork. Not sure why the circles, but the baskets are easy – storage, storage, and more storage. As a writer, I have lots of ‘stuff’ – things to tickle my writing. As a budding artist, I’ve found I have even more ‘stuff’ – much to my poor husband’s dismay. Those baskets come in handy.
Here are a few things that make me happy in my writing and art studios – notice the beautiful geometry ….

Thanks, Cee, for a wonderful challenge this week. Those little details are delectable.
