As a self-taught mixed-media artist, journal artist, and lifelong writer, I think of my journals as small pieces of original art with stories meant to inspire, empower, and encourage you to explore. I call them “Life Story” journals because they’re designed with words + colors to tell my stories while inviting you to tell yours.

COVID kept us from celebrating this exciting accomplishment in a brick & mortar bookstore, but I was so proud, nonetheless!

THE PROCESS:

- On average, a journal takes a few hours to a few weeks for me to make. They are not mass produced or digitally made. Each one is created as a one-of-a-kind and gets my full attention during the process.

- Even my itty-bitty journals (1.5 x 1.5 inches) take time, with their own special embellishments.
